For some of you this is old stuff but hopefully it will prove use to at least one of our family.
Level 50 and beyond.
You need to buy your spells and CA's in Maj Dul in the courts of truth, blades or coin or in the golden Sceptre if you have not worked faction yet.
Maj Dul
Faction plays a huge role in things here. To raise faction on the SS Docks there are 3 NPCs who will give you quests. It has been pointed out that it is best to raise one to the max before jumping to the others.
To further your faction raising you can kill the guards of the opposing factions for coins these coins can be turned in for faction.
Carpet Rides throughout Sinking Sands.
There are numerous carpets to make your travels through Sinking Sands quicker and safer. To enable your travel you must first run to them and then ride them back to the dock where it will then be lit up for your selection.
Some places you can travel.
Underground Arena (lower level entrance to POF)
Twin Tears (Mid level xp for SS and mid level entrances to POF)
Isle of something or other (it makes travel faster out to the isle for your faction quests.
POF Carpets
In the Caravan area there are carpets located at Giant Fields, Ta' Nieve(sp) and several other areas.
KOS Expansion
If you have it and have reached level 48 or more adventure out with a small group and collect the basket quests (they look like baskets) you can do these repeatitevly for along time racking up good loot and xp. Eventually though they stop rewarding.
Down the falls (you have to jump sometime) there are collection quests for roots, aloe, statues and other things. These are an awesome XP reward for the fight and will return things like bandages, marsprin tablets and other goodies.
Discovery XP.
KOS offers a ton of discovery XP and most of it is safely done even below 50. It requires you to travel to all the isle's within the KOS zone. You do this by using the spires located in TT and in and among the other islands.
General Stuff.
I have found that I cannot live without the following two items.
maps.eq2interface.com/index.php?action=downloadEQ2maps
and
www.eq2interface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=3859ThorUI Auto Update.
Okay I hope this helps someone.
