I've got a strange question for all you furniture makers out there. I've started my one alt out to be a woodworker, but just for kicks (and pristine exp ;D ) I've been making some t2 furniture. But I've run into something really strange.
I was spamming durability boost abilities cause I wasn't paying attention and let it get too low. But I was getting huge jumps in my durability, within 4 rounds I had full green bar again. I checked the descriptions, and the two non-power abilities were giving +20 durability a pop! That's more than Terwin's Tier 7 durability boost abilities! (I think they give +15 apiece)
My carpenter tier 1 abilities were giving +55 progress per round if I used all three, while my WW ones only gave +36. It just keeps getting stranger and stranger...
I also noticed that the abilities that used power were only draining 5 power for the t1 ability and 7 power for the t2. But my woodworker abilties were draining 21 and 42 respectively. So I realized something must be screwy with my character.
Now my question is, is this actually normal? Are the Tier 1 and 2 carpenter crafting abilities über-powerful for everyone? Or am I bugged? Just in case I somehow got another tiers abilities, here are the names:
Metallurgy, Dovetail Joint, and Concentrate are the Tier 1s
Geology, Tee Joint, and Consider are the Tier 2s
I wonder if this is a sign from the EQ2 gods that I should give up woodworking and do carpentry instead ;D. I haven't picked my final class yet, but I'm at level 19 and camped in QH so once I see if this is normal or not, I'll make my choice. Thanks shapers of wood and metal! ;D
