Hmm... Wouldn't be a better idea to just FIX the Classes they have?? Rather than letting people run from broken/bad classes to the good ones... (which would later be nerfed, mind you)

Once they make it so no sub-combines are needed, none of the classes will really be all that bad, since they will all just need 1 craft to finish an item. The problem right now is that things like provisioner only require a couple of crafts to make an item, where an armorer/tailor needs about 13, which really sucks. Sages and the like have it pretty bad with inks too. Once that all gets evened out I don't think crafting will be nearly as bad as it is.
Well some of the end items will still suck, (Xegonite armor anyone) but that's another story.

I love my Xegonite, way better than my cobalt was. that 1 defense per piece is real nice for me.

The problem with the crafted armor is that they screwed up with the cobalt. They made it far too much of a step up from Ebon. They admitted this was a mistake, but they never did anything to correct it. Then the Xegonite was upgraded in relation to the way cobalt was supposed to be, not the way it is. In the end the upgrade is pretty miniscule. There's only 1 extra mitigation, the resists are barely better and the stats only are up 2 each. It's also treasured, not legendary like Cobalt was. If cobalt had been changed to how it should have been Xegonite would have been more desirable.
Once I am able to craft it, I will be upgrading at least some of my armor to the Xegonite to replace my Cobalt pieces.

Actually, with the TS update, they're nerfing all future cobalt armor. What that means is that anyone with old (the stuff we have now) cobalt armor get to keep it, but any cobalt made after the update will be nerfed. They're also pretty much holding all TS fixes til that's out I think. Cause there are a LOT of bugs atm, and very few are being fixed.
There actually used to be a way to change your TS class, but I'm not sure if it's still works. It was a while back. I almost changed by accident actually, not sure what would have happened if I did change it. Go to the Temple of life in NQ and into the actual temple. There's an clicky alter there, try using it. Like I said though, this was a long time ago, maybe a year or so. But hey, it's worth a shot.

Weaponsmith is the third, Hathren. I'm a crafting noob (35 provi, retired) but I might go with tailor. There don't seem to be too many of them, and they get two types of armor, bags, and hex dolls...might be useful, though I know for a fact that people don't replace hex dolls every tier like they do armor. Heck, I'm still using two T5 hex dolls, b/c upgrading to T7 would only get me a total of 4 more attribute points. Not worth it, IMO.

Yeah, that's the problem with Hex Dolls. There is little value in upgrading once you get your inital set. The upfront cost is too high, the stat boost is minimal and the activitable is worthless.
I wonder - Does anyone use the activatable ablility of their hex dolls; Do you even know what it is; Did you even know your hex doll was activatable?

I sometimes activate my hex doll on a long fight type of mob, but other than that I never do it. I think recently they changed the casting time on them to make it shorter, which helps, but still...I don't think many people actually use it lol

The two T5 hex dolls are the second pair I've owned, and I'd upgrade if the advantage was worth the cost. Yes, I do use the ability (STR dolls slow attack speed), especially on named mobs and on raids. When we're taking on a beast that cons orange to the majority of the party, we need to do everything we can to bring it down to a manageable level - decreasing resists, lowering mitigation, attack speed, etc. A couple of hexes can make a difference, especially if everyone in the party is hexing so you get a lot of good debuff effects going at once. You're right tho, Candu, I think the hex ability does go largely unused for the majority of players. If you're not really pushing the envelope, it's often more effective to continue your normal combat routine than to take time out to hex the mob.

I still have my t2 Stamina hex doll, which debuffs a whopping 85 mitigation! ;D Not really worth it, though when I solo I sometimes use it when I need a long pull. I eventually plan on upgradeing it, have a pair of Sag roots sitting in my bank, I'm just too lazy to find a tailor to make em.

If you don't have them in guild, we have two high level tailors in CSI: Afairyion (in the 50s I believe) and Dangar (high 60s). I'm sure either of them would be happy to help, just let them know I referred you. Good luck
