Is it just me, or does the BB server seem to be slowly dying? I'm pretty sure it's just me, but I want to make sure...
Since the update, I have spent more time than ever soloing while lfg. Before, it would be 1-2 hours max. Now, I'll be lfg all night, and get nothing. Inex offered to help out tonight, but what I really want is a full group. There's where you get excitement! No offense, but duoing can be as boring as soloing. When I searched for other people to group with, there was one other person 20-25 lfg on the server. Rather disheartening...
It's rather frustrating, and that added to Alkanos's impotence in groups is wearing me down. I also have school and work and RL stuff to deal with. So that's why I think it may be just me.
But I remember when /ooc chat was a near-constant thing in overland zones. When the crafting channel sometimes was so distracting, I would have to turn it off in groups. Now it seems like everyone's just maintaining sullen silence unless they have something to complain about. And if anyone trys to start something interesting in a chat channel, it's met with blank stares (or deaf ears).
There are tons of groups out there, but now all of them are guild groups. Ever been the only non-guild person in a guild group? Now that's painful. Especially when they all have teamspeak. (><) So pick-up groups, my personal favorite type of group, have become rarities. Only frequented by the inane idiots who no one in their guild wants to group with. (what does that say about me, huh? ;D j/k)
I dunno, it's just wearing on me. Maybe I need to take a break or something, play something else for a while. Right now, it's just getting boring. And being bored isn't why I play a game. I play a game to have fun, what's the point otherwise? I don't play a game to level up, I don't play a game to get l33t gear, I play to have fun. And ever since the whole combat revamp, it's not.

Sory to hear you are having so many problems finding a group Alk I find that getting a 50+ group isn't too bad. Sometimes I have to wait for awhile, but a lot of times I get one within 15-20 min, which is way better than it was before the expansion. Before the expansion I could sit for hours and not get an invite. I guess a lot of higher level players returned to their main characters after the update. Of course, a lot of the groups I end up in only manage to find enough for 4 or 5 people. It's pretty rare that I end up in a completely full grp, and if I do it's often as you say, a guild group where you are the only non-guild member. I also find that a little disconcerting, they end up on teamspeak and say nothing in the group and expect me to know what they are doing, where they are going with no one even saying a word to me lol. Also, a lot of the groups I find are usually stuck looking for a tank, sometimes we've even gone out xp'ing without a tank cause there were none on...it actually worked surprisingly well. I know with my Summoner alt, I can't find groups at all. I sit forever and never get an invite. (Or if you do it's some dumbass who no one else wants to group with anyways, cause they are just out there to cause problems) So maybe it's just a lull for the level you are at...Once you gain a few levels, maybe it will get easier, hopefully!

Hmm... I've seen a lull too in the game, but I think it's level/zone specific. I think there are transitional periods between levels. As Saine said, it was hard for her to get a group at 50+ but now it's easier. Everyone wants to check out the new lands. Also, people are cresting in level and are starting new characters. So, some people are in newb land, others have guildmates to help. Right now, Tairise, has a pretty full group of alts. I think the guild has been offline in general these past couple of weeks though. It happens. Then the next thing you know, it's full again. Personally, I've been really busy these past few weeks with various things, so it's hard for me to get online, or I'm straight up tiiiiired and go to bed earlier than normal. Hang tight Alk Things will get better I'm sure. I don't think that BB is dying. It's just taking a wee nap... On a side note, I'm a gamer at heart. There are many games that I play so I don't get 'toasted' on one game. I play other computer games as well as console games. But I always get a calling back to EQII. I'm addicted! ;D

Yeah, I think I'm just getting burned out at the moment. It happened in other MMOs, and if I take a week or so off of the game, I'll usually be fine when I get back. I think that's what I'm gonna do for the moment. So I think I'll just set EQ2 on the sidebar for a week or two, and when I get back, I should be all better. ;D I have other games I should be finishing anyway... I have MGS Twin Snakes sitting in my GC, and I think I'll put some effort into figuring out how to get playable framerates in Black and White 2 (even with 2g of ram, a 6800, and an A64 3200 I get 10-15 fps ><). So I'll be back in a little while. Though if we're still doing the Torig Raid this weekend, I'll still be there!

The last week for me has been very busy so I didnt get to play much at all. I found that the longer I wasnt playing the less I felt like logging in for some reason. I guess maybe I am a little burned out too. I know that I have gotten a little weary of playing Zabia but have had some fun playing Erena lately. I am sure I willg et back in the mood to play though and I dont plan on quitting anytime soon.

Right, I figured it out... With work and school I'm gaming at weird times now, and therefore am not on in the good times for groups and chats. I had off today, and got 2 invites (with Niarius) and heard an interesting argument in QC. Soo...it was all just me then... ;D Heh heh, I'm such a sensationalist... ;D By the way, the break really helped I think, so if anyone else starts to get burned out, I highly suggest it.

I have found that playing different characters helps me to not burn out so fast. The last few days I have had alot of fun playing my warden and warlock. My hope is that once I get a little tired of them I will feel like playing Zabia again.

Glad to have you back Alkanos We've been having a lot of activity in the game lately. There was a dry spell.. but now, I've been in full groups of 6 with the guild on a consistent basis nearly every time I log in
