This might be an unfair poll because we're mainly Qeynos players, but I'm sure some of you have some Freeport alts. I seriously just lose interest in Freeport. I think it's nice because it's never crowded, but other than that.. my alts in Freeport only make it to level 10 then they are deleted due to lack of interest...

Thats exactly what I was going to do. I had plans on her doing the betrayal quest, but I got so tired of that place that I had to stop. I was so close too

Id love to get back into playing her, it was just so boring. Im planning on making her a ranger. Anytime you want to play the alts let me know. I was looking at my characters the other day and Illuin and Illusen are wearing the same outfit now

haha sounds like a plan! I would love to get Vesna to betray. I think I just now got the quest to begin the betrayal, but I have no clue what I'm doing...

I hadnt got the quest yet because I was told to wait until lvl 15 to even try doing it. Perhaps I should try doing it anyways and get her out of there

Problems with Freeport - we're a Qeynos guild
- No friends in Freeport
- Freeport layout is dirty ad depressing
- NPC's are Rude
- Music is Moody
All this roll up into a dislike for Freeport. Bottom line, SOE did TOO good a job making Freeport an evil place... or maybe they just made it a rude place. I have read some complaints about the rude NPC's. For Example, I would expect Trolls and Orges to be rude, but, DE's should be sweet and nice (with a dagger in your back). Bottom line, if you had a big group of friends (or should it be fiends?) in Freeport as you have in Qeynos, you could ignore the environment and probably enjoy yourself. BTW, The Candu Clan Phase II will start in Freeport, we haven't decided if we'll betray or not yet. Candu Altings

I think Lucan needs a redecorating crew, and then maybe tourism would go back up. Or maybe a girlfriend would help him.

illusen, lol
Freeport is definitely dirty. I mean, when I got my first apartment, there were no windows. And all the towns are just junky! The only 'clean' place is in North or South Freeport and that's booku money.

The upgrades for the apartments are expensive too (like new walls or floors). It was rediculous.

Yea Freeport is yucky, I don't think I would ever leave a character there, any I start would have to betray...Betraying is a bit of a pain in itself...btw if you try at level 15 you'll prob have some trouble with it...when Palen and I did it, we were level 17 and the one guy gave both of us some trouble. Then once you start there's the killing 500 gnolls, plus all the nameds you have to kill...at least now with mentoring getting the named mobs shouldn't be too hard lol.

Amalia and I have a pair of alts on the Freeport side, a scout and a mage. We were getting into them a bit, but there's always so much to do with our mains that we rarely make time to play them. I actually LOVE the interior city environments in Freeport - North FP especially. They look so majestic and vast, really imposing on an epic scale. Beats the crap out of anything Qeynos has to offer for grandeur. I never turn in a 360-degree circle and marvel with awe at the city environments in Qeynos, but it happens regularly in Freeport. As for rudeness and such - meh! I think I actually get more into roleplaying through behavior (as opposed to roleplaying through actions, which is more what I do with Kae) when playing my evil alt. He's a DE, going to be a warlock; very easy to step into the role of a cold-hearted, power-hungry drow whose calculating nature and merciless outlook will someday make him a fearful wielder of the arcane arts. So I just match rudeness for rudeness; I leave my nice-guy sensibilities in Qeynos, and every time someone is rude to me in FP, I just amuse myself by plotting their eventual demise. But there are definitely some turn-offs to Freeport; I can't stand the dinginess of all the residential suburbs. I don't plan on betraying at the moment, though that could change since I could just as easily make a warlock in Qeynos. But Amalia would have to go ranger over assassin, and I think she's really liking the sneaky backstabber idea. Anyway, our alts are still very young, maybe level 12 - so let us know if any of you want to get a FP party going, it'd be very cool to hook up with more friends. I think that's the only way these alts will get anywhere, if we have a good group to work with.
