I have GuildWars as well. I wasnt going to get it but it being a free online RPG sort of caught my eye and I got it. I LOVE the game. Its so easy to group with people, and if you're not in the mood to group with people you can hire henchman and solo. The game is really pretty and the movies are sort of cool too. They did a really great job with the game.

Lol, I dont play guild wars a whole lot. My Elementalist is only level...10 I think (but I think there are only 20 levels possible right now). WHy would I hide from you all My vacation was wonderful, thanks for asking. The place was absolutely gorgeous and I got to see a lot of scenery. We went horeback riding, tubing, trail hiking and all sorts of things. I should be on tonight. Im gonna try to get back into the groove of things again and catch up with the guild as best I can. Once I get the ball rolling again I should be able to catch up quickly

I also have Guild Wars, and lead a guild over there called CLAN Legion. It's a fun game but I haven't spent much time there lately - EQ2 generally dominates my gaming time. I do like that GW is very low-maintenance; it doesn't require nearly the time and effort that EQ does, and you can easily jump in, grab a party or henchies, do some quests or just explore, and then bail. EQ2 has so much more depth, but with that depth comes a lot more demand and complexity. I enjoy them both for very different reasons. But GW is sooooo pretty - I've never had my jaw drop so much from sheer awe at the environments. EDIT: My main is Jaerin Crissaegrim, but I'm furthest along with my warrior, Shardik Maul. Any of you GWers, feel free to add me to your Friends list; after you add one character, you'll see me when I'm online with any of the alts.

I wish EQ2 had more jaw-dropping awe from its environments and characters...

How can you tell when chars are botting? (If that's the correct term) Repetitious movements. Pauses bewteen each movement. Sitting after every kill, reguardless of HP/MP. Attacking any mob in the local area, reguardless of mob level. Sitting untill a mob spawns, runing to it, killing it, and then runing back to the original location and sitting again. Always using auto attack and never any skills or HOs. Biggest clue is they don't respond to you when you talk to them or even harass them. I think they travel in packs now too, I haven't seen the EQ2 higher end bots, but they have been known to have a second bot folow the main bot around and heal them at a regular interval (so the main doesn't have to rest). When they do that if you can seperate the heal bot from the attack bot then you can actualy get the attack bot killed and thats fun.

A subject thief stays on topic but diverts it from its original purpose. For Example
Poster A - Starts a thread "Alchemist Looking for Work - post your needs here"
Poster B - post a reply "Alchemist are the mostly stupidest class ever created and they all should be boiled in their plum pudding with a stake of holly through their hearts"
Then debate ensues as to the value of Alchemist.
BTW... Poster B's post is a classic example of "trolling' - trying to pick a fight or start an argument based strictly off of feelings or emotions, without adding anything constructive. You see a lot of trolling on Rant board. I love a Rant boards... anyone know of any EQII Rant boards?
