A couple of interesting Android tidbits.... I've been using a Motorola Droid for the past few months, and am always looking to see what cool new apps are available. I've been using "Quest Forever" for awhile now, which allows me to look up guild, character, and item data (similar to eq2players), and even chat with the guild via guild chat, from my phone. I noticed a thread today where someone mentioned that there is now a Ventrilo client called "Mangler" for Android. I downloaded the software, plugged in the server info for LTDO, and it worked great (as Kocag can attest to since I yakked with him for a few minutes). Don't know how incredibly useful that is, but it's geeky-cool. Lastly, I've been playing an Android-based MMO called Pocket Empires. It's pretty basic but amusing. If anyone else happens to be playing, I created a Tairise alliance on the Courage server. I have two cities so far - one named Londawen and one named Shazap :-)

Just playing with you. I have been meaning to get a new phone. My current one is ~3 years old and starting to develop issues. I am due for an upgrade, but...my company is an ATT company. so no "Droid" for me I have been looking at several different models and I just need to decide what capabilities do I really "need"? I mean: do I need Wi-Fi and 3G? Do I want a bigger touch screen or one with a slider keyboard? Do I want to throw my money at A$$h073 (aka Steve Jobs) (alright long story about my feelings towards him) or do I spend it on other companies? So many questions...

I'm guessing you know this, but with AT&T's new data plan pricing, removal of the availability of any unlimited plan, and relatively low usage cap (2Gb) before overage charges, you wouldn't catch me signing up for a two year commitment on any kind of smart device. If you're locked into AT&T, I'd keep it basic, unless your company is picking up the tab (including overcharges). Good luck!
