Crimson Red
We run and search, struggling each day...
Reaching for what's no longer there,
We make believe and spin fantasies...
Of dreams long gone, imagining a lover's care.
Fighting for what we believe...
But losing sight of reality,
Crawling for that glimmer of love...
When its supposed to be our entirety.
We cry these tears of crimson red...
Wounds inflicted for the world to see,
Our hearts once innocent, already bled dry...
haunted by the ghosts of what once could be.
