Any member of any guild can accrue guild points by completing Writs and Heritage Quests.
Currently, the minimum number of members accruing points without penalty is 12. This means, if we have less that 12 members in the guild regardless of participation, the guild point total will be divided by 12.
However, the maximum number that guild points will be divided by is 24. So, if we have 50 guild members, the points will be divided by 24.
The formula for guild points is as follows:
total points earned by each member / # of members (no < 12 and no > 24) = total guild points
Example:
The total points earned by a member is 10,000.
The current number of members (regardless of participation) is 16.
Thus: 10,000 / 16 = 625 total guild points
