Shy moved this from Sig testing as it really wasnt sig testing Shylah can you add this its a calendar I created on google calendar to maybe help the guild if not we can use the old log in and link it to that now that its public. By add I mean can you put it as a link on the menu maybe? <iframe src="http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?height=600&wkst=1&bgcolor=%23CC0000&src=t99caponmvs39qrc6jo4uk9lk8%40group.calendar.google.com&color=%23B1365F" style=" border:solid 1px #777 " width="800" height="600" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> And to see the calendar in action: www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=t99caponmvs39qrc6jo4uk9lk8%40group.calendar.google.com

Well there is a password to add events but to view them you would use the second link.
I will PM Shy the password and stuff

So, this means that the guild couldn't post in there themselves? I'd have to post the events?

NOOOO!!!!!! Dang... another week off for Shy. Thanks Kev! lol, jk! LOL No Mirul I was going to wait till she declared she was back did you not see the 24min grace period built into the Guild Leader Creed? When a Guild leader declares him/her Away from Game, upon said Guild Leader's return to said Game, the members who are in his/her care have unlimited and total access to said Guild Leader via any form of communication. This unlimited and total access is valid for the period of return plus twenty-four minutes regardless of timezones and or Daylight savings time status.

Ok joking aside. Shy you can setup a public calendar and allow folks by email address to join and edit you control the amount of access they have. Or we could just start one with a really stupid email address and give the login and password to the guild in our protected forums either way rocks for me.

lol on your 24 minute clause I guess I missed the fine print And I think the idea of the 'dummy account' with everyone having password access is the best way to go, so they can post events at their leisure. Side note, I'll be back tonight.

It's extra cool if you happen to use the Google calendar for your personal or work stuff. For example, I have two calendars set up now: one color is for work appointments/deadlines, the second color is for household meetings (date night, laundry night, EQ2 Night...). Now I can add a third for the Tairise calendar, and all of the events will show up on my calendar in another color. Pretty handy.
oh... and I haven't figured it out, but I believe you can configure your calendar to work with outlook or iCal. I remember reading an article about it, but didn't take the time to actually learn how to do it.
