Why is the forum so skinny?
I use Firefox with a 1680x1050 on my laptop.

I use the same, just never noticed. It is probably just a by product of the CMS/PhP used by most forums. Helps keep it uniform for non wide monitors.

Dude, I view it on 1920 x 1200. now that is skinny. However, it does scale based on your resolution. The forum is full screen width at 800 x 600. Yes its an archaic resolution but still mostly a standard for minimum site builds.

Kinda makes things easier to read. You know, newspaper column-like. I've noticed most blogs are going with the skinny width, too. Not that we're generally posting really wordy stuff, but when we do, I think the smaller width makes sense. Or maybe I'm just used to it! LOL!
