So, I'm addicted to mob mastery books. I have a lot of them completed all ready. Right now, I have the Treat and Nightblood masteries to finish up. Anyhow, I think the Nightbloods shouldn't be a problem. I have one more auto-piece and then I have to pick up the dropped pieces. My question is the Treants. I've had this mastery in my quest journal forever. Yet, I can't get those buggers to drop anything I need. I think I need the eye, bark, and something else... From the merchants, pieces can sell up to 6 gold. I'm a cheap skate... ;D any suggestions on where to find some good Treants to clobber? I know there are some around the 'ascension' in Nektulos Forest. Anyone know of more difficult Treants? Getting some exp for them would be nice. If not, I don't mind beating down the grays too. Sidenote: my favorite mastery trophies is the axe from the gollems, the halbert from the gnolls, and the sword from the zombies. (at least.. I think it was from the zombies... it's a curved sword .. sort of like a scimitar

I had some problems with the treant one also. I couldn't get the pieces to drop from the ones in Nek. I finally managed to get them from the ones in Zek. Not sure if you're too high to get xp off them though. (the treants you can get xp off can be a little tough to kill lol they killed me more than a couple times because they are casters and their little friends kept mezzing me)

I think the treants in Zek are green to me. I'll give them a try. I think that those in Zek have little fairy friends, yes? Silly fae folk. I shall slice them with my dagger! After all.. I'm a Hunter of Fairies. Muahaha

Yes, they have little fairy friends...Fairy friends that will laugh at the silly cat as they mezz it and slowly nuke it to death, while it can do nothing to them in return I highly suggest knocking the tree out first, then the fairies. The tree nukes a lot harder than the fairies do and has a lot more hitpoints. If you can get it dead before they mezz you, you will live if not, you'll be using some of your 9 lives lol (maybe they made the trees "solo" encounters now...when I did it they were heroic, making them a lot tougher)

I have lives to spare! I'll strike fear into the hearts of the wee fae with my game face --> Haha, and they'll probably watch me crumble to the ground by their mean tree mother. I guess that's why I was equipped with evac. I'll just hope that they don't knock me out to where I can't cast it... ;D

Haha they do make it so you can't cast evac, that's why they kept killing me. I just ran past the trees when I went to camp Sentry Goorlux, and it looks like they are classified as solo now, so you shouldn't have any problems.

You shouldnt have too much trouble with them. I was soloing them for a writ when I was 34 or 35 and they were blue to me. I had some close calls but I still killed them

lol true, true... I fear the evil druid. If anything, I'm sure you might curse me with some thorns sticking out of my head or make tree branches stick out from my arm pits. Not a good look for a kerra. I mean, how would I get through doorways?

Not to get into the middle of a (snicker) cat (snicker) fight or anything, but, yeah the whole "thorns in the arm pits (and other un-mentionable's)" is a little much... Kanaana and I are serious L&L fan's, too. We have all the books except EE and Bixie but still have 7 or 8 left to complete. Most we have the collectable parts for and are only waiting on the auto-drops. I really hate the skellie (I think) club thing but the rest are winners. Makes for quite a trophy wall Candu Altings

/bows down to Illusen... Not duck pee!!! Candu: It is my belief and practice to always get your auto parts FIRST, and then examine the other items. Sometimes the L&L will hang up on the auto parts, and you'll have to delete and do the quest over again. Some have said that this is fixed, but I don't wanna take a chance... lol So, I just put all my dropped pieces in the bank until I get all my auto parts. Badda-bing! All done without a hitch
