Not sure how SOE sneaked it by me (but then, I am only and Ogre and not very SMRT...oooh Shiny thing!!!), but several crafted items have been upgraded fairly well. I haven't researched it yet, but Bows (Woodworker) are supposed to be quite valuable now (i.e., a MC bow is supposed to match up very closely to comparable leveled Legendary bows in Stats/procs/Damage). Hex Dolls got a HUGE Upgrade. In the past, a T8 MC doll would give +15 of one stat (STR or INT or WIS or AGI or STA) and a minor De-buff spell. Now, the T8s give +40 of one stat (e.g., INT), +20 of a secondary stat (e.g., STA) and Power/Health and a Set of Resists. Also, if you equip 2 different Dolls, you get an additional "set" bonus. They still have the low level De-buff. Kirac is more than happy to make you a dolly so feel free to let me know if you want one. Luthrex also volunteered and is always looking to gain a bit more TS XP to finally hit 80 tailor (He is VERY close). Check it out, especially if you are still using your EF charm or Gorowynian Rune in that slot. Might be worthwhile for that upgrade ;D I vaguely heard a rumor that Armorers got an upgrade, too. Unfortunately I haven't seen anyone confirm such.

/psst Tell Luthrex to do the (very fast, very easy) Moors of Ykesha quests to gain required faction for entry into the Isle of Mara tradeskill instances (if he has not already), then go solo into each instance (one per day) and make one pristine of each of the nine items - you get the pristine bonus for each, and your resources are free! You can even stay in there and complete the zone for phat lewt and faction tokens, or just for the crafting xp (did I mention the resources are free?) I am not aware of any upgrade to armorers, but carpenters and provisioners both get a new recipe book, and sages get the ability to craft editable books that can be scribed and traded. My autobiography is in the works. In addition to the hex dolls, tailors also saw the ranged items they make upgraded: The tailor-made ranged items - bandoliers, statchels, quivers, pouches, will have new versions with their damage ratios slightly improved. The new ranged leather goodies for thrown weapons will have STR/STA/AGI/health/power for all tiers. +1 parry is added in Tier 2; Tier 3 adds +2 parry, +7 spell and combat art damage; Things progress from there, so by Tier 8, you are up to +4 parry, and the mastercrafted tier 8 ones have +35 spell and combat art damage.

wow, nice! I am still trying to get book 4. Those instances have proven to be a very cost effective way to level crafting! And an anticipatory grats on dinging 80.
