Is Lexia our resident T8 transmuter? I am looking to secure some mutes for my weapons and armors. I checked broker prices last night and I am wondering how much of a savings it will be if any to get the materials and have them made.
I do not have the exact names handy here are work but it is basically 2 Vampiric handles for my weapons and +16 STR and +16 INT for all of my armor that can get it.

Yerkich, Shazap is also a T8 muter (skill 375, can mute anything up to and including level 80 gear), and I have a pretty good supply of fragments and powders. Of course the expensive part is usually coming up with the infusion and/or mana for the legendary and fabled adornments.
Are you looking for tier 8 adornments? I'm assuming the weapons are one-handed...are they piercing, slashing, or blunt?

Okay, did some looking, and since you said you need 2 vampiric handles, I'm assuming you need them for one-handed items. Since you mentioned the +16 STR/INT, I'm assuming you mean T8 gear. So, here's the list:
Weapons: Smoldering Vampiric Handle (Legendary) x 2 Shoulder: Smoldering Brawny Straps (Treasured) Legs: Smoldering Brawny Brace (Treasured) Ears: Smoldering Intellectual Backing (Treasured) x 2 Wrists: Smoldering Brawny Fastening (Treasured) AND/OR Smoldering Intellectual Fastening (Treasured) x 2
The Treasured items require 1 powder and 9 fragments, returning 4 fragments (net of 5 fragments), and the Legendary items require 1 infusion, 5 fragments, and 8 powders, returning 3 powders (net of 5 powders). So, to make the above items, you would need 2 infusions (of reality), 19 (sacred) powders, and 39 (emerald) fragments, and you would get back 3 sacred powders and 5 emerald fragments.
Although not +16 in one of your desired stats, you may also want to consider
Chest: Smoldering Prismatic Applique (Legendary) - +7 STR, +7 STA, +7 AGI, +7 WIS, +7 INT

Wow Shaz, thanks! Yes those are the adorns I looked up last night. You said you have a good supply of powders and fragments? Good enough to support this order and I will buy them / reimburse you for yours? I looked up the 2 infusions last night, they weren't unbearable on the broker I don't think. I am assuming adorments are not removable and re-usable once they have been applied? (yes, I am an adorn newb) That worries me about putting it on too much armor that may very well get replace soon in TSO. My weapons will probably remain for a while, my epic for sure.
I should get with you in game and see what all this would cost and then go from there on what to actually adorn.

I am pretty sure I have plenty of emerald fragments and sacred powders to support the order and more. I don't think I have the infusions though. Have to mute legendary and fabled items for that, and I haven't exactly had a surplus of those at T8. If you wanted to try and "roll your own", I would get an infusion about 1 out of every 5 mutes of Legendary items, and 4 out of 5 times on Fabled items (the fifth being a mana, which would be very nice). I don't know what the price of the infusions were you were looking at, but Adept III spells can be muted as Legendary. So, one way of doing this would be to get five fire emeralds (they're considerably cheaper than tynnonium or loams), and have Londawen turn those into T8 adept IIIs and have Shaz mute them. You should get approximately 1 infusion and 4 powders from that, for a total of about 4.5p. If infusions are running cheaper than that, then it's best to just buy the infusions from the broker. As for making the actual adornments, you have to provide the infusions, fragments, and powders to the appropriate tradeskill class. For the items listed, here's who you need to track down: Weapons: Smoldering Vampiric Handle (Legendary) - Transmuter (Shazap can make these) Shoulder: Smoldering Brawny Straps (Treasured) - TailorLegs: Smoldering Brawny Brace (Treasured) - ArmorerEars: Smoldering Intellectual Backing (Treasured) x 2 - JewelerWrists: Smoldering Brawny Fastening (Treasured) AND/OR - Provisioner (Rockfist can make) Smoldering Intellectual Fastening (Treasured) x 2 - TailorOh, and your assumption about non-removal of adorns, etc., is what I understand as well. I'm also a adornment newb. :-)

Blight (Lexia) should be able to help you out when she gets back. I think we got another one somewhere. Several Provisioners are around. I am blanking on Jewelers...I know we have some, but not sure whom.

Hope all's going well Lex Well, Seren's a T3 muter lol I'm able to answer one question though. Once you adorn something it cannot be removed. However, you are able to overwrite an adornment with another. The original will be lost so choose wisely.

Mailed 2 infusions to Shazap.
Not sure I will bother adorning much of my armor. Hopefully I see some upgrades in TSO soon. I think I might get the +7 to stats for the chest item you mentioned though. Just need to figure out what ingredients I need and who can make it.

An Alchemist makes the +7 Chest applique. Candu can make it for you. He needs:
1 Infusion of reality 5 emerald fragments 8 sacred powders 7 smoldering candles
and you will get 3 sacred powders back.

Thanks Du. I looked it up last night and with Shaz and Lexia's help I got my 3 adorns. I am constantly keeping my eye out, debating other adorns. I think for now I am fine. Feel weird adorning armor I will hopefully will be replacing in TSO.

Shaz, you are just a fountain of information. I love that about you. Fasci is still making the long, slow crawl up the transmuting line. He's up to T6, almost to T7. I'm with you Yerk, about feeling weird adorning stuff you'll soon outgrow. I tend to give adornments to the toons I level-lock (heh. they're farming for Fasci's 'muting habit. It's the least he can do, right?)

It all depends on the adornment. I really think people overlook the really cheap ones (mostly for weapons), trying to hold out for the more expensive ones.
My favorite are the runic tempers. Adds a magic proc to any weapon and always very cheap to buy.
