Lore and Legend quests basically help you "master" a specific race of creature (mob). Basically, you locate the appropriate book for the appropriate race, read it, then accept the quest. After that, you need to kill a random amount of the specified race until you get all the auto parts (typically the first 3 listed in the quest such as a spirit, heart, essence) and until you get all the dropped pieces (normally treasured items such as a tail, leg, ear, or skull). If you're not sure if you have a Lore and Legend drop, simply refer to your quest log and/or "examine" the item. If it's a Lore and Legend item, you'll be able to further examine the piece and update your quest. Once you have completed a Lore and Legend quest, you are rewarded with a fair amount of adventurer experience, AA experience, a book about the specified mob to place in your house, a unique weapon to place in your house, and an added race to your "master strike" spell. The Master Strike spell simply does a greater amount of damage to known species of mob when activated.
