If i am able to be on (I can not make any promiseswith my sister in town ), then i will be happy to help out. I can bring Luthrex or even (now) Vedranni. Bringing the assassin would even open the doors for Kwibble to shake the dust off Shazap if tanks and heals are covered .

Recap, 11/24:
If I was a betting man, I would have lost ... but in a good way. (I was thinking Kocag wanted to make a Shard run to get some shards for Axaxel, since he had mentioned that desire recently).
Instead, we went to Karnor's Castle to get an update for Member (Kill Xalgoz or the Mistmoore Emissary in the basement). Since we were headed to KC, we also jumped in and went for Blight's update (in the ?library?).
It may not have been flawless (a couple of toons died) or Fatt (we saw no Exquisite chests, but several Ornate), but we were successful and got both Blight and Member a step closer to their penultimate weapons.
We also tried to go to Sebilis and get the next update for Member, but went to the wrong section and just didn't have time to start over. Another time, certainly.
Funny thing is, I was chatting with a friend later on and he mentioned he needs several things for his Fabled weapon in Seb. He is a Templar (with Elvarian Alliance) and mentioned one of his steps is to get Kotiz the Deathbringer in deep Seb. I didn't volunteer us, but I would love the opportunity to smack that under-conned guy (Kotiz) down a few pegs Plus he can drop a really nice leather Torso armor that is perfect for a Druid.
As I mentioned, we got several named kills and Ornate chests. Found a few shinies in KC (didn't have most of those...need to go back there just to gather shinies, methinks
There were a few AA pts.
And Blight and Member knocked out a step on their Epic weapon path.
Next week:
Klarn
has the responsibility to choose a place/adventure.

Hello all. Not sure if I will be able to make it. But if I can I would like to do the castle basement in KP. That is for Members update. But if I am not there go on to what ever you all want to do. Kocag

No particular agenda, but I thought we might crawl through the Halls of Fate for Wednesday night static group. If we finish early, we can do some name hunting in Bonemire.
To echo Kirac's words, "Gratz on the Fabled Epic Zottik!" WOOT! Oh, and nice job with the tanking. Me thinks Klarn can take a breather... lol
Nahhh, I LIKE Klarn as a Tank. OK you are a bit cautious on some pulls and often seem to lack the desire to "push" to the edge (like grabbing 3-5 mobs at once), but I won't complain about staying alive.

OK, I can do this.
I can supply a Monk, Necro, Fury or Troub (yes, I "could" bring the Fabulous Grubkin, but not needed with Illandra there. Illandra is pretty "oober' herself )

Re: Static Group 4; Wednesdays ~1000 PM EST « Result #14 on Nov 19, 2009, 5:20pm »
This was an unfortunate bust of a night. Other than myself, the only person who showed up was Songweaver. Even Member wasn't there, and it was his turn Sure there were a few friends of friends in the area, but if others weren't going to show up then I wasn't going to stick around.
I did check back in with Songweaver to make sure he would be OK without me. (make sure he wasn't too disappointed to spend the time without my guidance and powers)
So, I went off to handle some business that I had pending. I heard that Songweaver managed to get to group up with a few others. Apparently, he grouped with Zottik (a trollish paladin...he must have some serious identity issues), Axaxel (a Fury healer), Vedranni (a ratonga killer...wait a minute are all of the ratonga going to be assassins? I mean Puka was, now Vedranni...I see a pattern), and Deadaye (a Teir'Dal Necromancer). (I wonder if the female Dark elves are the true leaders? I mean I see several female Elves out there, but not so many males)
It seems they used the "time" wizards to revert themselves to a younger version and they headed over to a place in Lavastorm, the dungeon called Sol Ro. Apparently one of them had a need to speak like a dragon and the only one to teach that is down at the bottom of the volcano.
From what I heard, they were fairly successful, if a long trip (I have done it before, I know it is a LONG way down). Songweaver said something about getting a good idea or two and managing to kill a really big and powerful lavagolem, not to mention a few other "leader" type monsters.
In the end, they managed to reach their goal, so it was a successful trip (I had done it before, so it would be repetitious to do it over again)
Time has come and gone (excuse the bad pun) so next time, Songweaver should take his turn and pick a place he wants to go

Ooops, I did not mean to imply that your contribution(s) is/are forgettable. Really, it is not the same group without you two I missed having you there.
I mean if you aren't there, who gets to squeal about the shinies?
Also, who will Grubkin get to torment tonight in SG4?
Hopefully, the meds are kicking in and you will be back to your old selves, fairly soon.
But to Recap, 11/17:
Since we were short a Sereanna and Evia, and we replaced Kocag with Zottik, we decided to continue with our original idea of going to Shard of Fear and sought out some replacements (via LT Legion).
Sure enough, we had two folks who were willing to come along. Nyghtcrawler (Dirge) and Buros (Swashy). Also, Klarn switched out to Londawen (to double our healing capacity) and Zottik got to be MT.
We headed in and kept a general focus on getting to Terror. So we knocked out all the little names and avoided some of the trash.
As we cleared the Temple area, another person requested to join up as he had an update next to Terror. So Luthrex dropped out and we were joined by a Monk named Roflstomp (aka Davito). (methinks Luthrex was politicking a bit and trying to schmooze up to the head of other Raid organizations...hehe) Had a bit of a bad pull (IMHO), but we managed to hold it together long enough to get the Monk update and then kill Terror himself. A few folks died, but it was not a wipe as folks stayed on it.
He dropped the Bloodthirsty Choker (which is now and Heirloom item), and that went to Nyghtcrawler. Congrats.
Luthrex came back and we took out Angst (just for Kicks and giggles).
Buros had to go as it was getting late for him, but Zottik only needed one more kill to complete his quest. Since we had time, we quickly jumped over to KJ and got the update with him (some monk spawn).
Congrats to Zottik for his weapon!
So thanks to the Legion members who helped us out. We had very few deaths, but most of the lewt drops were mediocre stuff (meh), but still loot is always good
Nikki and I will more than likely not be around for a day or two (maybe more depending, how soon we start feeling better) Ted picked up a flu bug at work,so now we're all on meds and sleeping/resting in between coughing fits
I'm so sorry to hear you three are under the weather. I hope you have a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you in flu-free Norrath soon!

Bummer. (for you that is. I am sure we can get by as SG2/4, or just postpone a week or so).
Get some rest, and I hope you feel better soon.
Truth be told, "now" is an excellent time to get a flu bug, IMHO. You will be recovered by Thanksgiving so can enjoy the extra time away (from school/work), and you should be protected now against the same virus for the rest of the season (not to say you can't catch a cold or so in a few months ).
If you want, I can overnight-mail you some Chicken soup just watch for the bones, I might have missed a few while cooking

Life, According to Grubkin, 11/11: (wait a second...people might read that as it is all in my own mind, rather than the exploits of a near perfect individual)
This evening, we were supposed to meet up and venture into the catacombs of Mistmoore. However, things got a little bit crazy and several people were delayed in arrival. That was not a problem for one as resourceful as myself. I merely spent some time to perform a few tasks that the simple villagers in Somborn needed done.
Member was on a research mission so he asked his friend, Axaxel (a battle-type healer of some sort) to come and help us out.
Once we all gathered up, we made our way into the cavernous area and got to work. We killed a few Shadow creatures, some bone golems, and bunches of bats. We headed out and met with some stone golems and werewolves and...well I don't know what to call some of these monsters.
We were attacked by a very large mosquito bat who was legendary and called Veingore. He posed quite a challenge, very powerful. (perhaps more powerful "I," but not more so than "us." This was one of those times that having a good group makes sense. I am glad I thought of it. )
After dealing with this, we climbed up a wall and found our way into the basement area under Castle Mistmoore. Our time was running short, so we merely investigated and battled a few creatures (darn vampires, they wanted to kill me. Often though they tried to kill the rest of the group first, just to single me out and weaken my support. No matter, my friends are able to handle themselves and we proved victorious)
We assisted a man named Edge and vampire named Chesfort, killed several emissaries who arrived to make deals with the vampires (can't let that happen) we found several shiny objects (Valendae stayed happy...always a good thing ).
I feel that was much more to this place, but perhaps we shall see the rest of it another time. The experience was good and a few ideas on how to improve popped into people's heads.
Next time, I think

OK, what part of KC? Xalgoz?, the Skellies? the Named Drolvarg (I forget his name) up top? the one on ground level?
I ask because depending on where we go in KC, we may be close to a spot that Blight (SK Fabled) is at (SK is in Library just off Training grounds), we may want to consider changing up toons and such.
Also, for Shard of Fear, the quest to spawn Terror (where you put the hearts and brains in the Censers on the Temple) is a single person update (or need very close proximity). SO if we can coordinate so people get updates, rather than one person who has already completed the quest running amuck...
Shard of Fear is cool, several named (a couple of Epic X2 names, several Heroic names) to drop loot, albeit the treasures are all T7, but lewt is lewt. (the Yellow-Stained Leggings, the Sweat-soaked tunic, the Brown-streaked pants...all with a bit of Fear resist...)

Little birdie told me that someone might need Terror in SoF for an epic update. Since i cant think of anything better to do this sounds like a plan to moi. if we get done quickly enough, that same little birdie told me another toon needs something in KC as well....

Recap 11/10:
Tonight we headed over to Maiden's Chamber in Jarsath Waste. Kocag was called back to work, so we were short one person. To that end, we managed to get hooked up with a Paladin named Thoraden. IMO, nice guy, said he was new to the server, but was obviously an experienced player (since he had several pieces of Fabled armor ).
Also, Evia switched over to Illandra to get an update for her Fabled weapon.
We got started a bit late (Thoraden was running on a very slow computer ). We proceeded to work our way through the zone with only minor difficulties (initially skipping Sandstorm..big meanie that he is ). A few people died at Bilithu (such is his AoE), but we managed to take him out on first try. Proceeded through Great Gear, and had a few problems with the Sisters. I died on the first try , then we got an add that nearly killed Luthrex. We managed to handle Drusella quite handily.
Since we had time, we took a shot at Sandstorm. We won!!! yay us! Since he was down, we moved over to Impaler Tzilug and knocked him down as well.
Unfortunately, SOE is still cheapos and we got a few Treasured chests and a couple of Ornate chests But Ashford and Illandra (I think) each got an AA point.
Overall, we were successful and that isn't too bad.
Next week, the responsibility of where we go goes over to Luthrex

Good call, imo. 4pp? Pays the bots' salaries for a few weeks... Personally, I appreciate that you spotted a good deal for the guild, and assessed that we had enough to cover the sale without affecting our needs. Nice job.
Harvest Depot Sales « Result #27 on Nov 7, 2009, 3:08pm »
Just as an FYI. Torsis Tea Leaves are going at a fairly high value (50sp or so) on the broker. Someone was looking for them and paying 40 sp ea (less than the broker i know but still high value) so i took 1000 out of the harvest depot and sold them. i dropped the 4pp in the guild bank slot 1. i redirected the appropriate gatherer to t8 and the other 2 back to t3.

Another Awe-inspiring Victory by Grubkin, 11/4: (darn, ALL my victories are that good, the title just sounds too "common")
After hearing tales of the Obelisk of Blight, Kirsa asked to see this place. (she won't admit it, but I am sure she heard of how easily I conquered such and wanted to witness such abilities first-hand. I decided to grant her this wish)
Regrettably, business dealings delayed my arrival in Lesser Faydark, but I felt I was making and "entrance" rather than being "late."
Once i got there, we headed in and started to take over the facility in short order. But something strange happened (well, 2 strange things actually) 1) we struggled with a handful of the battles. We had to actually retreat a couple of times. I was flabbergasted, "how" could I let this happen? then i realized: 2) Valendae was eerily silent. Almost like she was distracted or really mad. When she is insulting me (and the gnomish people, in general), I know what to expect, i can deal with it. But when she gets quiet...I am scared. (She is already kind of scary, with that really sharp sword, heavy black armor and caustic wit. But has never dished her anger on us...well, maybe a little bit towards me, but I can handle it in my greatness) I think that that sudden change in behavior prevented me from reaching my optimal capacity.
However, we rallied and came back to our victorious selves. So, we win
The "Boss" of the zone dropped a nice set of shoes that fit me perfecty...but i already had a better pair (and even better ones on order).
Ohhh, well, if the shoe fits...
I understand Gorodin had some fabulous idea about where to go next time. (and we all know we should be nice to the healer types. Eventually we all get a scratch or a bruise, and they do have skills to fix those things)

Recap 11/3:
Tonight was quick yet still productive.
Our goal was to get some of the toons caught up on the Ethernaut line (since I figured we had been hitting a few of the instances recently, might as well make progress through the quest-line).
To do this, we went after the Obelisk of Ahkzul. Most (if not all) of us had been in the zone before, so the strat was known and fairly simple.
We cruised on through the rooms, collected up the shinies, and killed the Names. We jumped around on the trampoline room got a nice chunk of money (~2.5 plat) We blew through the last guy (Vark?) and got a shard out of the deal.
Had several Ornate chests. One of the items was a shield that Kocag could use on Zottik.
Since we finished early, we headed over to Firmroot Moot and started Chapter 4 of Ethernauts...and we finished that step in ~15 minutes.
After that, we called it a night and was done in a very timely manner.
IIRC, no-one died, we earned a good chunk of money, we got a shard, got some AA and completed a couple of quests. That is a good night, IMHO.
